Artist Bio

Dr. B.Joseph Pramod, more commonly known as Pramod Joseph is a renowned artist and art instructor. He has been creating innovative pieces of art that has captured the attention and churned a passionate following for his Indian traditional, as well as other ethnic and modern arts & crafts.

Since his early childhood he has always been passionate towards various forms of creative arts and crafts and it all started just as a hobby. But it did not stop with being just a hobby. He pursued his passion and graduated from the Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai with a distinction in Visual Communication. He has been equally passionate in sharing his knowledge and has been teaching for the last 23 years. He has completed an International teacher's training course from Cambridge University to further hone his teaching skills. He has received several awards in his art and teaching career for his innovative and dedicated work.

He was selected as the "Super Teacher" and has been the ambassador for Faber Castell & Pidilite Industries as their International Art Instructor and has done a lot of research and development with art-related products. He has also conducted several art-related workshops for art teachers and hobbyists across the country and abroad.

On September 5th, 2021, he received an honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from the Global Human Peace University.

Since 1997 Mr.Pramod runs his own art school located at Mylapore, Chennai under the name “Chitra Sandesa” which means “Art with a message”, where he teaches children to adults different art and craft forms with a planned curriculum.
